If you desire beautiful children, fix your thoughts on beautiful things. If you desire lean more toward the intellect, employ you thoughts in study, and so in other directions. If the parents themselves are not pure in body, heart and soul, at the time of conception, they cannot hope to transmit these qualities.

Value of Self Knowledge.-The difference between going through life adequately equipped with knowledge concerning the important functions of one's own organism, and blundering along in abject ignorance, may be compared to the difference between traveling in the daylight on an open thoroughfare, and going through a painless thicket in darkness.
